St. Nicholas Job Fairs are over. We were visited by nearly 1.5 thousand people who could meet representatives of 31 companies.
During the Fairs, students and graduates had the opportunity to meet directly with representatives of large international corporations, local and national institutions and EU career ambassadors.
The CV centre organised by Hays Poland Centre of Excellence attracted a lot of interest. Visitors emphasised that direct contact with representatives of companies and institutions is very important during the Fairs. This allows learning about the current recruitment policy, requirements and expectations, as well as the profile of a given employer. Fairs were held in Auditorium Maximum.
On 11 April 2018, another edition of the Job Fairs organised by the Jagiellonian University’s Careers Service took place. It was part of the nationwide event “Game for Career – Careers Services for You”. This is a new initiative taking place under the patronage of the Commission for Academic Careers Services at KRASP and the President of KRASP, which aims to promote Careers Services, in the academic community and outside.
Forty exhibitors took part in the Fairs: private companies and state/local government institutions presenting job, internship and apprenticeship offers. The Fairs were officially opened by the Rector of the Jagiellonian University for Didactics - Professor Armen Edigarian. Students had the opportunity for direct contact with employers, for consulting their CVs and obtaining the latest information about the labour market.
